The term "Western Ferries (Clyde) Limited" or "us" or "we" refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Hunter's Quay, Dunoon Argyll PA23 8HJ, Scotland (Company No.91850). The term "you" refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Conditions of Carriage

Our Conditions of Carriage form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Tickets

All our tickets are classed as 'open tickets'. This means that there is no expiry date, allowing them to be used at your convenience on any day, on any crossing and in any direction. Tickets cannot be booked for a specific sailing.

If you have purchased your tickets in advance of travel you must have your tickets with you when you travel otherwise you will be charged the standard onboard fare.

Multi-journey books of tickets have a Control Portion showing the price of the book. This portion validates each ticket within the book and must be shown each time you travel.

When you purchase your ticket it is essential that you provide accurate measurements of the overall length of your vehicle (including tow bars, cycle racks, etc), as this determines the applicable fare. If you have purchased a ticket in advance for the wrong vehicle length, your ticket will not be accepted onboard and you will be required to pay the appropriate standard fare.
Delivery

Tickets ordered by telephone or online will be despatched by Royal Mail Tracked 48 post. Delivery is available to any address within the UK, including the Channel Islands. However, this service does not include BFPO and PO Box addresses. It usually takes up to 5 working days from the order date for your tickets to arrive. Working days do not include weekends or bank holidays.

To ensure your order arrives safely it will need to be signed for by someone at the delivery address. We are not responsible for any delay caused by the unavailability of someone to accept delivery. It is your responsibility to contact the post office to arrange the collection or re-delivery in such circumstances.

We will have no liability to you for any delay in delivery of your order that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion.
Refunds

If you consider you are entitled to a refund please write to our office at Hunter's Quay, Dunoon PA23 8HJ with a full explanation of the circumstances, enclosing your tickets and proof of purchase.

Please note that unused portions of multi-journey ticket books are not refundable.
