Sound of Seil Sound of Soay
The Sound of Seil and Sound of Soay were built in the UK by Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited of Birkenhead and entered service in October 2013.

The vessels are designed, built and Classed to Lloyd's Register of Shipping requirements, with an emphasis on truly "green" credentials that support minimal use of hazardous materials, and which optimise propulsive efficiency throughout the service life of the vessels by the efficient matching of the hull design to the propulsion package.

They utilise LED lighting technology and enhanced heat recovery to further reduce energy consumption.
